Gabriel Jesus has apparently given Arsenal a major boost by sharing a snap of himself on the pitch as he continues his recovery from knee surgery.
The 25-year-old striker hasn’t featured for the Gunners since before the World Cup where he suffered a medial ligament injury while representing Brazil.
Jesus has been keeping Gunners supporters updated on his fitness, from ditching the crutches to training in a knee brace.
He posted a picture of him doing keepy-ups last month, before lifting the lid on when he will return to action to UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov.
In attendance to watch his teammates beat Manchester United 3-2 at the Emirates on January 22, Jesus told Khabib – who was also at the ground – he will be back within ‘four to five weeks’.
And Jesus has now taken to his Instagram story to provide another update on his return in what will delight the club’s fanbase.
Wearing football boots, Jesus uploaded a boomerang video of him back on the pitch at London Colney.
Captioning the post, he simply said: “After eight weeks.”

Jesus’ last outing for the north Londoners came in the 2-0 win away at Wolves on November 12 – the last game before the World Cup in Qatar.
Since undergoing the knife, the ex-Manchester City forward has missed seven games in all competitions.
Still, his return to the team cannot come soon enough in what will be a frantic end to the season as Arsenal look to win both the Premier League and Europa League.
Arsenal sit five points clear of City at the top of the table as the club look to win their first title since 2004.
City boss Pep Guardiola insists he has no regrets over selling Jesus as well as Oleksandr Zinchenko to the Gunners last summer.
Asked whether he made the wrong decision ahead of City’s FA Cup win against Arsenal, Guardiola remarked: “Why? Because they are winning.
“They have been amazing for us, we have incredible respect for them as people first and as footballers.
“Of course we want to beat them, but all the success they’ve had, I’m more than delighted. Both clubs agreed and that’s all.”
