KSI was not pleased with the referees decision to stop Derek Chisora’s fight with Tyson Fury in the tenth round.
The social media star was ringside for the bout and while he was impressed with Chisora’s performance he did not have such kind words for the referee.
“I thought it was a terrible stoppage,” KSI told BT Sport boxing, “but Chisora smashed it, I thought he did very well.
“Fury didn’t look as good as he normally does, but it is what it is.
“Fair play to Fury and Fury vs Usyk is what we want to see.”
KSI went on to say, “I’m very proud of Derek. If it was up to Derek he would’ve gone out on his shield.
“I thought it was a poor stoppage from the ref, but fair play to Derek and fair play to Fury.”
With that being said, Chisora himself actually thanked the referee for the stoppage, as he revealed after the fight, “The ref said, ‘If you don’t do anything else I’m gonna stop it.’ And the ref was right.

“You have to go home to your kids. As fighters, you don’t wanna stop. That’s why the ref’s there.”
Next up, the most likely fight is Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk in a clash that could potentially have the undisputed titles on line.
After Furys victory over Chisora, Usyk confronted him in the ring, while ‘The Gypsy King’ hurled insults at the Ukrainian calling him a ‘rabbit’ and a ‘little midget bodybuilder’.
Asked to give a prediction on who he thought would win a fight between Fury and Usyk, KSI said, “It’s 50/50, but I’m excited for it either way.”
