ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The WTA introduced Wednesday the Czech Republic’s Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova have certified for the 2023 WTA Finals. They develop into the third group to safe their place in Cancun, Mexico, becoming a member of Coco Gauff & Jessica Pegula together with Storm Hunter & Elise Mertens.
It is going to be the pair’s fifth consecutive look on the season-ending event. Since making their event debut in 2018, Krejcikova and Siniakova have reached the ultimate thrice, ending as runner-up in 2018 and 2022.
