New ringside footage shows the moment Luis Alberto Lopez landed a devastating uppercut that knocked out Michael Conlan.
Conlan saw his bid to win the IBF world featherweight title end in dramatic fashion when he was floored by Lopez in the fifth round.
The clip, posted by Top Rank, shows the 31-year-old being caught off guard by the vicious uppercut, leaving him flat on the canvas.
At the back of the shot, you can see his trainer, Adam Booth, throwing in the towel.
Conlan was checked over by the medical staff in the ring before being given a round of applause by the home crowd.
The two then shared a respectful embrace in the ring as the result was announced.
“I think Michael Conlan underestimated my power,” Lopez said.
The 29-year-old added: “I am stronger than him and more powerful than him. He has speed and great footwork.
“I did a great training camp, I was a little nervous but I got the win and am very happy about that.
“I wanted to come to Belfast so I could prove to myself that I am a true champion.

“I had an issue when I was injured when I was champion in 2019 and I really, really wanted to make a statement today, being a world champion with my first defence.”
